Suzumiya Haruhi no Tomadoi PS2 ~DX Pack~

Suzumiya Haruhi is probably the most popular anime series ever aired in japan. Despite of that, they're not making a new season and has put the series on hold for over 4 years. Maybe they're waiting for the novel to finish? Nobody knows... However, there's still a lot of games to play if you are craving Haruhi merchandise!

"Suzumiya Haruhi no Tomadoi" is a adventure/simulator game for the PS2 system. You'll join Haruhi and her club in a quest to make a fully functionable game. Either if it's an RPG, Visual Novel or Princess simulator you're aiming for, you'll get the joy of playing the finished product. That's like four games in one box!

The DX edition of this game features ONE single bonus: A revoltech figma. These kinds of figurines usually go for 8000 yen (80$), so getting the box for 10 bucks (with free shipping!) from ebay was a bargain! The box is incredibly huge as well, so you need a good amount of shelf space for this one! The figurine comes with a stand, an extra face and some extra hands in different positions. There's also an attachable sword.

The Quest of Suzumiya Haruhi

I ordered the DX edition of "Suzumiya Haruhi no Tomadoi" for 20$ on ebay some weeks ago, and it finally arrived. The content of the game is the same, the only difference is the revoltech figurine included in the box. I didn't really know how to show it off at the best way possible, so I made a picture story of the whole thing. The other toys I had present at the moment were some from the "Disney Infinity" game, so I had no other choice than to use these. Enjoy!

Suzumiya Haruhi no Tsuisou Collector's Edition

Today when I were going to play some "Suzumiya Haruhi no Tsuisou" on my PS3 system, I realized something horrible...

No, wait... it has a scratchable code!?

I forgot to use the PSP/PS3 theme code I recieved as a bonus for pre-ordering the game. Or perhaps I didn't know what it was, I don't really remember anymore. For those wondering, you're eligibled to download 12 official themes with different characters from the show once you redeem it.

Just to make things worse, I went on and checked the photoalbum that was included. Not a good idea.

Sure, he just slipped. But Koizumi seems to enjoy it...

I really like Koizumi, but there's way too much yaoi stuff in the games. Not that I mind though, as I find everything hilarious. Perhaps one can look at it as a payback for including too much female fanservice in anime. I'm just glad the CG in the games are drawn by "Kyoto Animation"
